The Lady Kate rental packages include food, beverage, staff, tables, chairs and linen tablecloths and napkins. A variety of food options are available depending on the nature of your event, whether it be a wedding, rehearsal dinner, corporate dinner meeting, retirement event, baby or bridal shower, etc. We have a full bar on board and are able to offer a variety of pricing structures depending on the event. All events are subject to a 22% service charge and 7.35% CT prepared food and beverage sales tax.

Yes! Lady Kate has both air conditioning and heat for your guests' comfort. Shade is available on the upper deck / ceremony location.

Absolutely! Riverhouse Cruises has all your food, beverage and service needs covered and external food and beverages are not permitted. We have a preferred vendor list that includes some of the top companies in the state to handle all your other event needs such as DJs, photographers, videographers, florists, tuxedo rentals, wedding dress boutiques and more. You are more than welcome to hire your own vendors. All vendors are required to provide a certificate of insurance.

Yes! Riverhouse Cruises will supply an open guest Wi-Fi network and most guests will find cellular service more than adequate while cruising out on the river.

Maritime regulations are very specific for safety and environmental reasons. The following is a list of items that are not permitted on the vessel. The list includes most but not all potential hazards. Riverhouse Cruises will follow US Coast Guard regulations in all instances.
Real flame of any kind, glitter, confetti, cannons/poppers of any kind, or helium balloons. Hanging decor is not permitted; any backdrops/screens must be self-standing and pre-approved.

Yes! Lady Kate will be available for events year-round. We will follow all suggested forecast models and US Coast Guard regulations and will depart the dock only if it is safe to do so based on the current air and water conditions.

We will be viewing the sights and sounds of the Connecticut River from the boat and will not be stopping to get off of the boat at any time during the cruise until it returns to the dock in Haddam, CT.

Lady Kate is wheelchair accessible on the main level only with a designated restroom. Both the upper and lower decks and main restrooms are accessible by stairs only.

We will be viewing the sights and sounds of the CT River from the boat and will not be stopping to get off of the boat at any time during the cruise until it returns to the dock in Haddam, CT.

Lady Kate Cruises depart from and return to Eagle Landing State Park, located at 14 Litle Meadow Road, Haddam, CT 06438. Ample and free parking are available at the dock!

All river cruises will depart promptly at the scheduled dock departure time - please plan to arrive 30 minutes before the scheduled dock departure time. In extreme circumstances, Riverhouse Cruises will make every attempt to delay departure to accommodate guests.

Weather conditions will be assessed on the day of the cruise and just before the scheduled departure time of the cruise. If air and water conditions dictate, the Lady Kate may not be able to complete the scheduled river cruise portion of the event. In this situation, the event will still be held dockside.
